There is a song: " Something happens in my heart!"
I don't know how to explain this, but there is a feeling inside of us to respect it. Somedays we are "up" , but in the others we are "down".
Fenelon said: " there are two kinds of people, the first look at life and complain about don't have, and the others look at life and rejoice what have!"
Nowadays I read as simple story:
" A toad and a bull were very good friends, but the toad would like to be the bull, because he seemed to be more stronger and beautiful. Everyday the toad swelled more and more thought to himself: Someday I will be like my friend bull! But before long heard a " burst" in the swamp; that is; the toad " exploded" . Has no meaning in english, but in portuguese it would be like " um sapo" virou " ex-touro".
It's a joke to teach that everyone must live his own life and don't want to be the other!
Be yourself! You don't need to impress anyone! The Lord is your stay!
"11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. " 1 Thes 4:11-12
"11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." Phi 4:11-12
" 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. " Phi 4:9
How the God of peace will be with us?
1) when we practice what we have been learned
2) when we practice what we have been received
3) when we practice what we have been listened
4) when we practice what we have been seen
" 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone....
26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. " Jm 2:24, 26
